Astrological Energy Shift: Mercury conjunct Jupiter - March 27, 2023
Mercury entered Aries just a week ago, joining the sun in this sign. When the planet of communication meets with ram energy, our communication becomes more passionate, direct, and honest. Aries is a fire sign, after all, so it stands to reason that our inner fire becomes stoked under this transit. Our minds are likely to be especially stimulated right now, and our opinions unedited. This can be good or bad, depending on the delivery. While most people prefer a straight-shooter, Mercury in Aries can come across as too direct - even offensive - and may therefore create some distance between ourselves and those close to us.
Jupiter also happens to be in Aries right now, staking its claim on this territory back in December 2022. We must remember that whatever Jupiter touches expands, and in this case we have Aries’ themes of individuality, action-taking, and heightened stamina. Considering that Jupiter rules fellow fire sign Sagittarius, we’re given even more opportunity to follow our passions, as well as create more exciting experiences for ourselves. Under this transit, it’s helpful to consider that Jupiter can often overdo it; you may find that your luck may run out if you don’t pace yourself and avoid burnout.
It’s quite an exciting time when Mercury joins up with Jupiter! When expansion meets communication and the intellectual mind, it’s like a breath of fresh air.
