Guided Explosions
"Anger is never without reason, but seldom with a good one."
- Benjamin Franklin
A fit of anger is like a balloon that pops right in your face. First, you have a balloon ( that would be you ). Then you have a pump ( something that ticks you off ). Then you have hot air (you and the pump create this together- the pump sends the air your way, and you allow the air to build up inside you). If you don't do anything to diffuse the air, POP! You explode, scaring everyone in the immediate area. Nobody wants to see that.
WHEN I FEEL ANGER WELLING UP INSIDE ME, I WILL HANDLE IT CONSTRUCTIVELY. IF MY ANGER IS TOWARD A PERSON, I WILL TALK THINGS OUT. IF IT IS OF A MORE GENERAL KIND, I WILL TURN TO YOGA, MY JOURNAL, OR A HOT BATH.
