What Is Success, Anyway?

Many people can be considered successful, can't they? Some shady lawyers make as much or more money than the lawyers who work for years to reverse a ruling against the wrongfully accused. If you measure success by the type of car you drive or the house you are able to afford, both individuals are successful. Only one is a person of value, however. The real heroes of our world are the soldiers, firefighters, police officers, business-people, teachers, parents, and others who safeguard or improve our communities every day.
TODAY I WILL THINK ABOUT MY WORK AND WHETHER OR NOT IT IS OF VALUE. IF IT IS NOT, I WILL CONSIDER A CAREER CHANGE OR DEVOTE MORE TIME TO VOLUNTEERING IN MY COMMUNITY.
