Getting There Is Half the Fun
"We may run, walk, stumble, drive, or fly, but let us never lose sight of the reason for the journey or miss a chance to see a rainbow on the way."

Did you ever travel with someone who was determined to get from point A to point B the fastest way possible? They don't want to veer off the road even five miles to see Mount Rushmore, Lake Tahoe, or the Grand Canyon. I do understand the need sometime for trying to somewhere in the shortest amount of time possible. But when we're traveling just to see the sights, perhaps we can loosen up with books that can entice even the most reluctant traveler to stop and smell the roses.
The same philosophy can apply to our everyday lives; instead of just going from home to work and back each day, we need to take some detours to refresh our spirits and enlarge our hearts.
