Beauty All Around Us
"A rock pile ceases to be a rock pile
the moment a single man contemplates it,
bearing within him the image of a cathedral."
- Antoine de Saint- Exupery
There's an old story about a traveler who comes across three bricklayers. The traveler asks the first man, "What are you doing?" The bricklayer shrugs and says dryly, "I'm earning my wage." The traveler asks the second bricklayer, "What are you doing, sir?" The man shrugs, "Me? I'm building a wall." Then the traveler asks the last bricklayer what he's doing. The man turns around, flashes a huge smile. and says, "Sir, I am building a marvelous cathedral." Life is a matter of perspective.
TODAY I WILL FIND THE BEAUTY IN EVERYDAY THINGS.
