Hear No Evil, See No Evil
"My life has been happy because I have had wonderful friends and plenty of interesting work to do. I seldom think about my limitations, and they never make me sad. Perhaps there is just a touch of yearning at times, but it is vague, like a breeze among flowers. The wind passes, and the flowers are content."
- Helen Keller
Most of us cannot even fathom what life was like for Helen Keller. A childhood illness left her unable to see or hear, but these obstacles did not deter Keller. She went on to obtain a bachelor's degree, helped found the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU), and was a tireless writer and lecturer. She took her life for what it was and made the most of it. This is all any of us can do, for we all have limitations and a specific set of circumstances, talents, and abilities.
TODAY I WILL MAKE THE MOST OF MY CIRCUMSTANCES AND OPPORTUNITIES.
