Fixing the World
"Fill what's empty, empty what's full, and scratch where it itches."
- Duchess of Windsor
When I was a child, I was taught to always leave a place better than it was before I got there. If I see paper on the ground at the park, I pick it up and dispose of it. If there are dishes on the coffee table at a friend's house, I pick them up and take them to the kitchen. It's just simple common courtesy. We can't expect the world to be perfect without our help.
TODAY I WILL CONTRIBUTE TO KEEPING MY COMMUNITY ORDERLY. AS I FINISH MY GROCERY SHOPPING, I WILL CORRAL ANY CARTS I COME ACROSS IN THE LOT.
